As we're still unable to meet up in groups, this years Spring Show has again been replaced with an on line Spring Show. Thanks to so very many of you who submitted entries and congratulations to the winners. While there are no prizes being awarded this year the quality of the entries was amazing, we hope you've enjoyed taking part.

Here are the entries and results for our on line Autumn Show. Thanks to so very many of you who have submitted entries, the judging has been done and the results are now in!
Below you'll see all the exhibits and the winners. There are also a large number of highly commended's which tells you just how high the standard was.

DAHLIA CLASSES
1. 1 specimen dahlia 7” (18cm) bloom or larger. Your photo must include part of vase, and please state the diameter of the bloom
2 1 specimen dahlia, pompon or ball variety. Your photo must include part of vase
3 3 blooms of dahlia in a single vase to include a cactus or semi-cactus, a collarette and a single flowered. Your photo must include part of vase
4 A photo of a dahlia bloom, any variety, in situ in the garden, still growing on the plant. Can show some garden background

1. Longest Runner Bean. measurement to exclude stalk, but stalk can be attached, Please state the length and have a ruler alongside for scale.

2 Heaviest Marrow. You must include the weight as taken by you
3 A matching pair of any vegetable

Autumn Show 2020 RULES
This competition is open to all Painter's Forstal Gardeners' Club members
Two photo entries per class per member
Entries to be emailed please to contact@paintersforstalgardenersclub.org.uk
All entries must have been submitted by midnight 14th September 2020
All entries to be grown in exhibitors garden, allotment or home
Winners will be announced once judging is completed, hopefully on or around 16th September 2020
By submitting an entry you give permission for the image to be shared on this website, photos will be uploaded to this page
The judges' decisions are both subjective and final!
Following the success of our online Spring Show photo competition, and given we have suspended all club meetings until further notice, we have done something a little different for the Summer Show this year as the show will be in the form of a photo competition. We have chosen 7 classes in all giving an opportuity for you to show off your best blooms and vegetables.
CLASSES
1 A pot plant for foliage grown indoors (not cactus or succulent, fuchsia or orchid) please show some or all of pot
2 A flowering pot plant grown indoors (not cactus , succulent fuchsia or orchid) please show some or all of pot
3 Your best / favourite garden bloom (excluding dahlia) can be taken as growing
4 Longest runner bean, including stalk (must be shown next to a ruler or tape measure) please confirm the measurement
5 Oddest looking vegetable
6 A collection of fruit of one variety (appropriate quantity)
7 A collection of 5 different vegetables (one of each) shown as an exhibit in one photo
Summer Show 2020 RULES
This competition is open to all Painter's Forstal Gardeners' Club members, one entry per class per member
All entries must have been submitted by midnight 24th July 2020
All entries to be grown in exhibitors garden, allotment or home
Potted plants and flowers must have been in the exhibitors possession for at least three months
Winners will be announced once judging is completed, hopefully on or around 1st August 2020
By submitting an entry you give permission for the image to be shared on this website, photos will be uploaded to this page
